The time has come for new Administrative Leadership. Our current Superintendent has failed to provide a quality education at an affordable price to the taxpayer’s of this community. This community deserves a Superintendent that will build lasting relationships with the resident’s of the community and our children. Our children deserve Leadership that will put their financial needs before their own. Our children do not need leaders that value a 2011 Cadillac more than teachers.
More is not always better. An excessive, top heavy administration takes away from the necessary funding needed to provide teachers and technology that ultimately provide the building blocks of our children’s core foundation. Historically, District 74 has provided quality education to our children with less Administrative staff and redundancy. We pay in excess of $1.3 million dollars in salaries for the top ten administrators in the school. This does not include an additional $206,666 dollars for full health coverage or other additional contractual perks; such as gas, food, phone, etc. An estimate $2 million a year goes towards the top ten Administrators in the District.
